FedEx Orders 2,000 Harbinger Electric Trucks

Harbinger has received an order from FedEx for 2,000 all-electric medium-duty trucks, valued at over $300 million – which Harbinger describes as likely one of the largest binding orders for electric medium- or heavy-duty trucks.

What was announced

  • 2,000 all-electric trucks from Harbinger’s lineup, valued at over $300 million.
  • Deployment across FedEx pickup and delivery operations in the United States and Canada, replacing conventional vehicles one-for-one.
  • Harbinger plans to build and deliver the full order within about 18 months, by the end of 2027.
  • The order builds on an earlier Harbinger deployment in the FedEx network; FedEx also co-led Harbinger’s $160 million Series C round.

Why it matters for fleets

Harbinger estimates approximately $20,000 in annual fuel savings per truck, and highlights driver-focused features such as improved suspension and handling, advanced driver assistance and a 42-foot turning diameter. For fleet operators, an order of this scale is a strong signal of the platform’s readiness for high-utilization delivery work.
