Why it matters for fleets

Fully electric vehicles have struggled with EMS duty cycles, charging constraints and power-redundancy needs. Harbinger’s hybrid pairs its electric chassis with a gasoline range extender that recharges the battery as needed, cutting emissions during long idle periods while keeping steady power for medical equipment. Harbinger designs and builds its chassis, powertrain, battery, steering and brakes in-house in California, and notes that demand for mobile clinics is expected to grow sharply by 2030.
