The platform
Harbinger builds a purpose-built electric stripped chassis for Class 4–6 applications: an 800V liquid-cooled battery scalable in 35 kWh steps to more than 200 miles of range, three wheelbases (158, 178 and 208 in), DC fast charging in about one hour and a design life of 20 years or 450,000 miles. Harbinger develops its own motors and battery packs, and chassis are completed by third-party upfitters as step vans, motorhomes, emergency vehicles and cutaway cabs – including SEVNA cutaway configurations.

Why it matters for fleets
Harbinger states that, after available U.S. federal incentives, its vehicles are priced at parity with comparable gasoline and diesel models. Orders from a major bakery fleet, the largest RV manufacturer and dealers covering most of the U.S. and Canada show broad demand for a ground-up electric medium-duty platform rather than converted combustion vehicles.
